Delightful and healthy air fryer apple chips seasoned with cinnamon sugar, perfect for a crunchy snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium apples (any variety, such as Fuji or Granny Smith)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Using a mandolin slicer or a sharp knife, slice the apples very thinly (about 1/8 inch thick). Remove the core and seeds if desired.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt (if using).
  3. Lay the apple slices on a clean surface and lightly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over both sides. Toss them in a bowl to coat evenly if preferred.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to a week.

Notes

For extra sweetness, drizzle honey or maple syrup over the chips before serving. Use a variety of apples for different flavors and experiment with spices for a unique twist.
