Air Fryer Fried Pickles are a crunchy, tangy snack that offers a lighter alternative to traditional frying. Perfect for parties or quick snacking.

Ingredients

  • Dill pickles (or any type of pickles)
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Slice the pickles into thick slices.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each pickle slice into the egg mixture, then coat with the cornmeal mixture.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the coated pickles in a single layer.
  7. Spray the top of the pickles lightly with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed. Feel free to adjust spices to taste.
