A warm and comforting breakfast bowl made with rolled oats, almond milk, sweet apples, and a hint of cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Toppings: sliced almonds, more diced apples, or raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine rolled oats, almond milk, diced apple, cinnamon, maple syrup, and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are cooked and creamy.
  3. Remove from heat and let sit for a minute.
  4. Serve warm, topped with sliced almonds, more diced apples, or raisins if desired.

Notes

Use fresh apples for better flavor and texture. Adjust sweetness with maple syrup as needed.
