A delightful apple and cinnamon loaf that turns any day into a celebration. Perfect for breakfast or as an afternoon snack.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat the softened butter with the granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the diced apples, sour cream, and vanilla extract until evenly combined.
  6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top for an even bake.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
