Fun and easy chocolate-filled pastries shaped like bat wings, perfect for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for rolling)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into bat wing shapes.
  3. Place chocolate chips in the center of each shape.
  4. Fold the pastry over the chocolate and seal the edges.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and flaky.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Use cold puff pastry for the best texture. Don’t overfill the pastry with chocolate; a small amount goes a long way. Experiment with different fillings.
