A quick and delicious dish featuring tender beef and fresh broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thin)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add beef to the mixture and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add broccoli and a splash of water. Cover and steam for 3-4 minutes or until broccoli is tender but still crisp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

Serve hot over rice; sprinkle sesame seeds on top for added texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
