A classic dish combining tender beef slices with crisp broccoli and a savory garlic soy sauce, cooked in one pan for easy cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Hot rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, cornstarch, sugar, and sesame oil.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned.
  4. Add garlic and broccoli, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat and cook until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve over hot rice.

Notes

Slice the beef thinly against the grain for better tenderness. Use fresh broccoli florets for a crisp texture. Adjust sauce ingredients to taste.
