A comforting dish of ground beef and tender noodles in a savory broth, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat with the chopped onion until the beef is cooked through and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the flour, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
  3. In a separate pot, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and then stir into the beef gravy mixture.
  4. Add butter and mix until well combined.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

This dish can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
