An easy and delicious dessert that combines sweet apples, warm spices, and gooey caramel, perfect for busy bakers.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of apple pie filling
  • 1 package of yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
  • Whipped cream or ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, layer the apple pie filling on the bottom.
  2. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the apple filling.
  3. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cake mix.
  4. Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon and chopped nuts on top if desired.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or until set.
  7. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
