Delightful chicken and creamy Alfredo sauce served in warm, crusty bread bowls, perfect for family dinners or cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 Chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound Pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 6 Kaiser rolls
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 teaspoons Garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken cubes with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned chicken for about 6-8 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. While the chicken cooks, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Then, drain well.
  4. Slice the tops off the Kaiser rolls and hollow out the centers to create bowls.
  5. Combine the melted butter with additional garlic and herb seasoning, and brush this mixture inside and around the edges of the bread bowls.
  6. Place the bowls in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for about 4-5 minutes until lightly toasted.
  7. Add the drained pasta and Alfredo sauce to the cooked chicken, stirring to combine thoroughly.
  8. Fill the toasted bread bowls with the chicken Alfredo mixture and top with shredded parmesan cheese.
  9. Return the filled bowls to the oven for another 4-5 minutes, until the cheese melts and the bread is crispy.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with parsley or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.

Notes

For additional flavor, incorporate sautéed vegetables or use fresh garlic along with seasoning.
