A delightful fusion of flavors combining tender chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, and warm, crusty bread bowls, perfect for any weeknight dinner or special gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pieces Chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound Pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 6 pieces Kaiser rolls
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 teaspoons Garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken cubes with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes until fully cooked and browned.
  3. In a large pot, boil salted water and cook your pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the tops off the Kaiser rolls and gently hollow out the centers to create bowls.
  5. In a bowl, combine melted butter with garlic and herb seasoning. Brush the inside and edges of the hollowed rolls with the mixture.
  6. Place these bread bowls in the oven and bake for about 4-5 minutes until lightly toasted.
  7. In a large mixing bowl, combine drained pasta and Alfredo sauce with the cooked chicken, stirring until well combined.
  8. Carefully fill the toasted bread bowls with the chicken Alfredo mixture, topping each one with shredded parmesan cheese.
  9. Return the filled bowls to the oven for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, replace the heavy Alfredo sauce with a low-fat alternative. You can also use different protein options like shrimp or diced vegetables for a meatless version.
