  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Start by boiling the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Once done, drain them and set aside.
  2. Sauté the chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper before adding them to the pan. Sear each side for about 6-7 minutes, or until they are fully cooked.
  3. Rest the chicken: Once cooked, take the chicken out of the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  4. Make the garlic butter: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter along with the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Combine noodles and butter: Toss the drained noodles in the skillet, making sure they’re well-coated in the garlic butter.
  6. Serve: Slice the rested chicken and place it over the buttery noodles. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with different herbs and spices, or try substituting shrimp or tofu for the chicken.
