A delicious and quick meal featuring tender beef, fresh vegetables, and flavorful lo mein noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thin)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 inch ginger (grated)
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
  5. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry until just tender.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce; stir well to combine.
  7. Add the cooked lo mein noodles and toss everything together until heated through.
  8. Garnish with sliced green onions, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add chili sauce or red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
