A delicious and quick dish featuring tender beef, colorful vegetables, and lo mein noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb beef (such as flank steak), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (like bell peppers, carrots, and broccoli)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix the beef with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the beef and cook until browned, then remove from the pan.
  5. In the same pan, add garlic and mixed vegetables, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Return the beef to the pan, add soy sauce and oyster sauce, and toss to combine.
  7. Add the cooked lo mein noodles and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

For best results, cut beef into thin strips and stir-fry over high heat. Customize with your favorite vegetables.
