A delicious and comforting treat combining ripe bananas with a warm cinnamon swirl, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix the melted butter with the mashed bananas.
  3. Stir in the baking soda and salt.
  4. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Finally, stir in the flour until just combined.
  6. In a separate small bowl, mix the cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Pour in the remaining banana batter, and then top with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness. You can customize with nuts or chocolate chips for added texture.
