A mouthwatering dish combining tender steak and cheesy tortellini in a rich, creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
  • Parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cracked black pepper (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove and let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter. When melted, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and milk, mixing well. Gradually add the parmesan, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  6. Slice the rested steak into strips, then toss with the creamy sauce and cooked tortellini, ensuring everything is well-coated.
  7. Serve hot, garnishing with optional parsley, red pepper flakes, and cracked black pepper.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality fresh cheese tortellini. Customize the dish by adding sautéed spinach or sun-dried tomatoes.
