An indulgent yet easy recipe featuring succulent ribeye steaks smothered in a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for impressing guests or treating yourself.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the steaks to the skillet and sear each side for about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare. Once done, remove from the skillet and let the steaks rest.
  4. In the same pan, lower the heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté just until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, beef broth, and Dijon mustard, stirring well to combine.
  6. Let the sauce simmer for approximately 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  7. Slice the rested steaks and serve them drizzled with the creamy garlic sauce, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, half-and-half can be used, but the sauce won’t be as rich. Feel free to add sautéed mushrooms or spinach into the sauce for added flavor.
