A delightful blend of flavors, these oven-baked chicken thighs are bathed in a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then sear them until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes each.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  7. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juicy.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Try marinating the chicken in lemon juice and herbs for extra flavor. Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce for depth, or a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
