A delightful and easy-to-make dish featuring flaky salmon topped with a crispy Parmesan crust.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Generously press the Parmesan mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Serve with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider using panko breadcrumbs or swapping out Parmesan for Asiago cheese. Broiling the salmon for the last couple of minutes can add additional texture.
