Fluffy chocolate chip pancakes that are a delightful breakfast treat, perfect for busy mornings or lazy weekends.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
  6. Pour ¼ cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  7. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with syrup or additional chocolate chips.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sliced bananas, whipped cream, or a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top.
