Indulgent brownie cookies that combine the chewy texture of brownies with the softness of cookies, perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, mixing until well blended.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each are fully mixed in before adding the next, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder for an even mix.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until everything is combined; it’s okay if there are a few lumps.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges appear set and the centers look slightly soft.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use quality cocoa powder and don’t overmix the dough.
