Delicious and healthy turkey meatballs seasoned with aromatic Greek flavors, served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them onto a greased baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. For the tzatziki sauce, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Serve the meatballs warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute breadcrumbs with gluten-free alternatives. Fresh herbs can be added for more flavor.
