A creamy and crunchy green bean casserole that’s a classic side dish for family gatherings and holiday dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of cut green beans, drained
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 ½ cups of crispy fried onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of crispy fried onions.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining fried onions on top.
  7. Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.

Notes

For a cheesier version, mix in some shredded cheese before baking. Use fresh green beans for a crispier texture.
