A quick and tasty meal combining ground beef with sweet and savory flavors, served over fluffy rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice (for serving)
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For best results, use lean ground beef and adjust red pepper flakes based on your heat preference. Add vegetables for extra nutrition.
