A warm, comforting dish featuring tender chicken, creamy soup, and fluffy rice, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, rice, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, mixed vegetables (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

For a creamier casserole, add more cheese or consider using cream of chicken soup.
