A delightful dessert featuring sweet, juicy nectarines topped with a crunchy crumb topping, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe nectarines, sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tart pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, and cold butter until crumbly; press into the bottom of the prepared tart pan.
  3. Toss sliced nectarines with brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla; let sit for 10 minutes.
  4. For the crumb topping, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cold butter until crumbly.
  5. Layer nectarines over the crust; sprinkle crumb topping on top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature, paired with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Use ripe nectarines for the best flavor.
