A delightful and creamy cake made with yellow cake mix and a rich cream cheese topping, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 13×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine yellow cake mix, 2 eggs, butter, and vanilla; mix well to form a stiff batter. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar, cream cheese, and the remaining 2 eggs; mix well and pour over the top of the cake batter.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes.
  5. Let the cake cool completely before cutting to achieve delicious layers.

Notes

Serve in squares with a dusting of powdered sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container; can be refrigerated or frozen for longer storage.
