  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • Nutella (for stuffing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until fully combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. To assemble, take a tablespoon of cookie dough and flatten it in your hand. Place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center, and then wrap the dough around it, sealing it well.
  7. Place the dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  8. Allow them to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy your Nutella stuffed cookies!

Notes

Use room temperature butter for easy mixing. Make sure to seal the dough tightly around the Nutella. Don’t overbake the cookies; they should be soft when you take them out of the oven.
