Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and onion powder.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet, cooking until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender.
  6. Once the noodles are cooked, mix in the remaining butter, stirring until it’s melted and well combined.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet.
  8. Toss everything together, topping with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired, then serve.

Notes

To ensure optimal results, use room temperature chicken and don’t rush browning. Explore variations such as different pastas or adding vegetables.
