Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  2. Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add egg noodles, stirring them into the broth, and cook according to package instructions until tender.
  4. Return cooked chicken to the skillet, coating with the noodle mixture.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked through to 165°F (75°C). Experiment with herbs for added flavor.
