A quick and comforting dish featuring juicy chicken breasts and tender egg noodles, all cooked in one skillet for easy cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the noodles and ensuring it’s heated through.
  6. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Let the chicken rest before slicing to retain juiciness. For added flavor, consider using chili flakes or fresh herbs.
