A delightful twist on the classic cheesecake, featuring a light texture and the unique flavor of matcha green tea.

  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup matcha green tea powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar, and beat until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the matcha powder and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the heavy cream until combined.
  6. Sift the flour and salt into the batter and mix until smooth.
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased springform pan.
  8. Bake in a water bath for about 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set.
  9. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and high-quality matcha powder. Refrigerating overnight improves texture and flavor.
