A delightful and airy peach mousse that is perfect for summer, made with fresh peaches and whipped cream for a light and refreshing dessert.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches (peeled and pitted)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Blend the peeled and pitted peaches in a blender until smooth to create a peach puree.
  2. In a bowl, combine the peach puree with sugar and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Whip heavy cream in another bowl until soft peaks form, then set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes before heating until dissolved.
  5. Stir the gelatin into the peach mixture, then gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
  6. Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or until set.

Notes

For best flavor, use ripe peaches. Chill serving dishes for an extra refreshing experience.
