  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for filling)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, milk, sugar, egg, and melted butter.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. Spread brown sugar and cinnamon mixture on top.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into equal pieces.
  8. Shape each piece into a pumpkin by pressing down slightly and using a knife to create ridges.
  9. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
  10. For the frosting, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  11. Drizzle frosting over warm rolls and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds.
