A warm and creamy garlic soup that brings the taste of the French countryside to your kitchen, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 bulb of garlic
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like thyme or parsley) for garnish
  • Crusty bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the garlic and onion, then heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and onion to the pot and sauté until soft and fragrant.
  3. Pour in the broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
  4. Blend the soup until smooth and return it to the pot.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.

For a lighter version, use low-fat milk instead of heavy cream or omit the cream altogether.
