A delicious dessert combining rich chocolate cake with fruity strawberries and a creamy cream cheese swirl.

  • 1 package chocolate cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth and pour into the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter. Use a knife to gently swirl it into the batter.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped strawberries, coconut flakes, and chopped nuts evenly on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before serving and enjoy your delightful dessert!

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
