Delicious small pieces of steak marinated in a sweet and savory sauce, perfect for appetizers or a main dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Add the steak cubes to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the steak from the marinade, reserving the marinade.
  6. Add the steak bites to the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides.
  7. Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken and coat the steak.
  8. Serve garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the steak for longer if possible. Try using different cuts of meat or adding vegetables for variety.
