A warm and comforting dish combining tater tots, ground meat, and creamy soup, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag tater tots
  • 1 pound ground beef or sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is browned; drain the fat.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cooked meat with cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the mixture in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Top with a layer of tater tots.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
