A comforting dish featuring juicy chicken breasts in a rich butter sauce sweetened with honey, perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  5. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until well combined and smooth.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it in the sauce. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For variations, use margarine instead of butter or agave syrup for honey. Adjust spices according to taste.
