A fast, creamy fruit smoothie bowl made with frozen bananas, strawberries, pineapple, and Greek yogurt, topped with crunchy granola and fresh berries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 banana (peeled, chopped into 1-inch pieces, then frozen for at least 1 to 2 hours or overnight)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/3 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (full-fat for the creamiest texture)
  • Toppings (as desired): sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, fresh blueberries, granola, shredded coconut, slivered almonds, chopped walnuts, chia seeds, sunflower seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the banana: chop the banana into 1-inch pieces and freeze them for at least 1 to 2 hours, or overnight for best texture.
  2. Load the processor: place the frozen banana, frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple, and vanilla Greek yogurt in a food processor fitted with a standard S blade.
  3. Process: run the processor for 2 to 4 minutes. Stop periodically to scrape down the sides with a plastic spatula so everything incorporates evenly.
  4. Check texture: you want a thick, spoonable consistency. If it’s too stiff, add a teaspoon or two of milk and pulse until it loosens slightly. If it’s too thin, add a few more frozen fruit pieces.
  5. Serve immediately: scoop the smoothie into individual bowls and arrange toppings—fresh berries, sliced banana, granola, nuts, seeds, and shredded coconut work beautifully. Enjoy right away while it’s cold and creamy.

Notes

Freeze banana pieces on a single layer on a tray to prevent clumping; store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
