  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs until well combined.
  5. Gradually blend in the flour mixture until fully incorporated.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
