Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef (such as flank steak or sirloin), sliced thinly
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth in a bowl and mix well; set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Sauté garlic and ginger for another minute.
  5. Add broccoli florets and the sauce mixture to the skillet. Stir well and cook until the broccoli is tender and the sauce thickens, about 5-6 minutes.

Notes

Slice the beef thinly against the grain for optimal tenderness. Adjust sauce ingredients to suit your taste.
