An elegant dessert featuring layers of brownies, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream, perfect for feeding a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 1 batch of brownies, baked and cooled
  • 2 cups chocolate pudding (instant or homemade)
  • 2 cups whipped cream (freshly whipped or stabilized)
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the cooled brownies into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Place half of the brownie pieces in the bottom of a trifle dish or large bowl and press lightly.
  3. Spoon half of the chocolate pudding over the brownie layer and smooth gently.
  4. Spread half of the whipped cream over the pudding in an even layer.
  5. Repeat with the remaining brownies, pudding, and whipped cream to build a second layer.
  6. Top with chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
  7. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For a richer texture, consider using cooked chocolate pudding instead of instant. For stabilized whipped cream, fold in a bit of mascarpone or a stabilizer. This dessert can be made gluten-free or dairy-free with suitable ingredients.
