A creamy, tangy, and spicy dip perfect for parties and gatherings, made with shredded chicken and cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo style hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven broiler or set an oven to 375°F if you prefer baking rather than broiling.
  2. Soften the cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl for 20 to 30 seconds.
  3. Stir the softened cream cheese with the buffalo hot sauce and ranch or blue cheese dressing until completely combined and creamy.
  4. Fold in the shredded chicken and 3/4 cup of the shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack and mix until even.
  5. Spoon the mixture into an oven-safe 8-inch baking dish and smooth the top. Scatter the remaining 1/4 cup shredded cheese and the blue cheese crumbles over the surface.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes until bubbly, or broil for 1 to 2 minutes to brown the top—watch closely to prevent burning.
  7. Let the dip rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese. Add a splash of milk when reheating if the texture seems grainy.
