A comforting dish that combines tender chicken breast with rich buttery garlic sauce and spaghetti, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound thinly sliced chicken breasts
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 16 ounces spaghetti
  • 5 Tablespoons butter
  • 8 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • ½ teaspoon crushed pepper flakes
  • ⅔ cup freshly grated parmesan, plus more for serving
  • Fresh minced parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, chicken bouillon, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and sauté until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Prepare the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and crushed pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet along with the drained spaghetti. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning with more salt, if necessary.
