  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced potatoes and cook until beginning to soften, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until translucent.
  4. Push the vegetables to the side and add ground beef, breaking it up and cooking until browned.
  5. Sprinkle paprika, salt, and pepper over the mixture.
  6. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 10 more minutes, until potatoes are tender.
  7. Melt cheese on top for a delicious finish.

Notes

For best texture, use waxy or Yukon Gold potatoes. Adjust cheese type for different flavor profiles.
