Ingredients
Scale
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
4 large tortillas
Fresh parsley for garnish, optional
Instructions
Heat a skillet over medium and melt the butter.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
Add the cooked chicken to the skillet. Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until the chicken is heated through and evenly seasoned.
In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese until smooth and creamy.
Mix the warm seasoned chicken into the cheese mixture so each piece is coated.
Lay the tortillas flat and divide the chicken-cheese mixture evenly between them. Top each with the remaining shredded cheese.
Fold and roll the tortillas tightly into wraps, tucking in the ends as you go.
Wipe the skillet clean and return to medium heat. Place wraps seam side down and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until the tortillas are golden and the cheese inside melts.
Transfer to a plate, garnish with parsley if using, and serve warm.
Notes
Use low-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt for a lighter version. Serve with a simple salad or slaw for a complete meal.
