A quick and comforting dinner featuring creamy, garlicky chicken wrapped in melty cheese and crispy tortillas.

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie or leftover roast is ideal)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, minced garlic, softened cream cheese, and mayonnaise.
  2. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
  3. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of the chicken mixture on each tortilla, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edge.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar over the chicken on each tortilla.
  5. Tightly roll each tortilla into a wrap, tucking the edges as you go to keep filling inside.
  6. Brush the outside of each wrap with melted butter and sprinkle garlic powder and dried parsley evenly over the surface.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the wraps seam-side down. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until the bottom is golden and crisp.
  8. Carefully flip and cook the other side for another 3 to 4 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the wrap is heated through.
  9. Remove the wraps to a cutting board, let rest for 1 minute, then slice diagonally and serve warm.

Notes

Swap Greek yogurt for some or all of the mayonnaise for a tangy, lower-fat option. Use cooked turkey or a plant-based shredded chicken substitute if preferred.
