A comforting and hearty Slow Cooker Lasagna with layers of pasta, savory beef, and rich cheeses, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add a scoop of marinara sauce to the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Break the lasagna noodles into pieces and layer them on top of the sauce.
  4. Add a layer of ricotta cheese, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese, and then the browned meat mixture.
  5. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, ensuring the final layer consists of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the top layer.
  7. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for about 240-360 minutes until the noodles are tender and the cheese is melted.

Notes

Opt for low-fat cheese or whole grain noodles for healthier variations. For creamier texture, mix half of the ricotta with an egg before layering.
