Crispy, golden-brown chicken tenders baked to perfection, offering a healthier alternative to fried versions.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
  3. Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in a second, and combine the bread crumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
  4. Dredge each chicken strip in the flour, dip in the eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spray or drizzle a little olive oil on top of the strips.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
